Thunderstorms moving into area later today and tonight. | Weather

Later today and tonight we could get severe weather moving in from the South and creating thunderstorms and all that go with them. Every two to three years we see the atmosphere get all the ingredients right for some big boomers, moisture, instibility, heat and wind sheer.

Some of these thunderstorms may pop up in Eastern Washington but are really looking like they will be in North Idaho and Western Montana, many will contain damaging winds and large hail.

Use caution when being outdoors, get out of the weather as soon as you see lightning and prepare your house for the winds that will push through.
