Idaho school districts receiving technology grants | News
Several school districts and charter schools in Idaho will be receiving grant money for classroom technology. $21 million was donated by the U.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation last year and now that money is being seeded into 15 different directions.
Coeur d’Alene School District is set to receive $250,000 of that cash to lead a pilot program giving teachers access to current data to develop lesson plans and analyze student progress throughout the year.
Three other districts are receiving grant money. Lakeland School District is being awarded $150,000. Boundary County School District is being awarded $100,000 and Lake Pend Oreille School District is receiving $150,000.
Superintendent Tom Luna will be at Canfield Middle School on Monday, April 16th to announce the grant.
