Crimefighting Councilman Takes Down Suspect | Crime
Sitting on things may be Sandpoint city councilman, Justin Schuck's, forte. Schuck, a Sandpoint native and Merchant Marine captain, has been sitting on the council for a little over two years now and took down a suspected car prowler on Tuesday.
It all started when the 31 year old's wife noticed a man rifling through her car, told her husband, who grabbed a shotgun and confronted the man. That's when things got a little dicey. There was a struggle, Schuck managed to wrestle the guy to the ground, but it wasn't the power of the shotgun that got him to stay put, it was Schuck's hind end. He sat on 18 year old Stanley Richardson, Jr. until police arrived and arrested him.
Now Richardson is sitting on his heinie in jail facing two counts of burglary. He hasn't entered a plea yet.
