Title (Max 100 Characters)
Come to the Kootenai County Fairgrounds this Friday and Saturday, June 24 and 25th and walk among 300 pieces of beautiful artwork on display at the North Idaho Quilt Show being held at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. The doors will open from 10am to 6pm both days displaying the local talent of the NIQ and featuring quilts of artists Sally Clouse and Terry Miller. Available for purchase will be raffle tickets for the 2011 Raffle Quilt, being described as a stunning work of art, which is a king sized quilt quilted by a group of local quilters and machine quilted by a NIQ member. Helping to raise funds for the quilt show is the “Country Store,” which will be selling slightly used sewing supplies, fabric and quilt patterns. If you are interested in learning to quilt or learning some of the different techniques of quilting there will be demonstrations throughout the show, each show lasting for about an hour.
The show is open to the public and admission is just $5.
